PURCHASE ENGINEER – FIRE & UTILITY PROJECTS
We are looking for an Output-oriented person who can coordinate with suppliers.
Any graduates with degree / Diploma in materials management.
1-3 years’ experience in handling project purchases. Experience in Pipe, fittings & hardware purchase if preferred. Good communication skill. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel ERP knowledge will be an added advantage. Should be Patient by nature Should have Good Grasping power & multitasking. Should be able to work under pressure. Should have a positive approach. Good listening, understanding ability Should be able to delegate work properly. A person should be able to work independently and take responsibility of all projects in totality. Strong knowledge of supply chain management required.
The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for, Manage all functions of supply chain. Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies. Negotiate with vendors for optimum purchase rates without compromising quality of material. Develop new vendors as well as maintain existing one. Maintain strong working relationships with vendors. Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communications with those vendors. Determining purchasing needs. Provide timely supply of material to various projects.
ERP handling. Assisting in maintaining records of goods ordered and received. Report generation as required from time to time
